Municipal Map Packets
Municipal map packets are provided for all municipalities in the CAFRA zone. These map packets include maps of the following coastal hazards, overlaid with critical facilities and evacuation routes:
- Sea level rise at 1, 2 and 3 feet
- Storm surge for category 1, 2 and 3 storms
- Sandy surge
- Preliminary Flood Insurance Rate Maps and associated Base Flood Elevations
- Marsh migration maps at 1, 2 and 3 feet of sea level rise
These map products can be used as part of a risk and vulnerability assessment for a municipality. They can also be used when updating planning documents such as municipal master plans, hazard mitigation plans and flood hazard plans.
